Safety and security improved at rural property

Creating a secure environment is as important for residential locations as it is for commercial ones. Keeping our loved ones safe and secure is vital, as is protecting our property and land from any potential intruders.

This can be challenging for properties with adjoining land or annexed properties. Gates and fencing can provide a solution, but manual gates can be heavy, cumbersome and inconvenient, particularly when used frequently by residents and visitors.

Electric gates and entrance security systems can be the answer.  They are sometimes viewed as  being better suited to urban or more modern properties – but this is not the case, says Dorian Dentith, Managing Director of Champion Security Installations Ltd.

A case in point, is a project we worked on recently with a client in Warwickshire who wanted to improve safety and security at their rural property.  The wooden gates we fitted are fully in keeping with their local environment, yet also offer the convenience and peace of mind of a fully automated solution.  

With both keypad and remote access, not only do the gates look great, they provide added security from unwanted visitors, and also keep any children and animals safe inside the grounds.

Access Control System & new external door installation at Moss Court Student Accomodation, Manchester

Starting University is a major moment for any young adult. It is also a key milestone for parents, as their sons and daughters discover a new independence, often moving away from home for the first time.

Knowing that your loved one is safe and secure in their new home is therefore of paramount concern at this time.

At Champion Security Installations Ltd, we understand that the security of your home and your loved ones is paramount. As nationally renowned experts in domestic, residential and commercial security installations we have access to the lastest technology, products and services, as well as the experience and expertise to tailor a solution to meet individual needs.

For this reason, we are very proud to work with Allied Students, providers of high quality student accommodation across the UK. Their mission is to make the transition for students as hassle-free and as welcoming as possible. They have properties in Birmingham and Manchester, and combine both convenience of location with comfort and and as safe, relaxing environment. All of which helps the make the change as as stress free as possible – for both students and parents.

We recently partnered with them on their Moss Court location, in Manchester. We currently oversee the maintenance for this building, so we were their first point of call when they decided to enhance the security in the building.

We worked with them to upgrade their current access control system and installed new entrance doors at the rear of the building.

In addition, we supplied and installed new access controls throughout the property, giving controlled access for all residents. Enhanced safety measures required during the pandemic, such as social distancing requirements and hand sanitisers, were also highlighted.

Elegant country style electric gate installation

We all seek to protect our home and our loved ones, wherever we might be located. Some locations can be more challenging than others however, particularly larger properties in rural locations, where there may be multiple access points.  In addition, there may be a need to create a secure perimeter for properties with large gardens or adjoining land.

A further challenge then arises in how to create a secure environment without compromising on the aesthetics of the property. Heavy metal gates and fences may look out of place on elegant country homes, or may spoil the view of the neighbouring countryside.

At Champion Security Installations Ltd, we are experts in residential security as well as commercial installations.  We have worked with clients across the UK in properties of all sizes, and in all locations – from inner city apartments, to country estates.

We use our expertise to thoroughly survey the property in order to understand all of its requirements, and then we will work with our client to create a bespoke solution for them.

For example, we recently worked on this beautiful property in North Warwickshire for a private client.  The brief was to install electric gates for enhanced security and privacy, but also to maintain the elegant style and appearance of the property.

We installed these wooden gates, with lighting, on the driveway to the property.  They fit seamlessly with the existing perimeter fencing, whilst also implementing the latest technology for enhanced security and convenience for the client.  A win win situation!
